Château des Gipières     

Château des Gipières was build in 1865 by Napoleon III's equerry, Marquis Suarez d'Aulan, on top of the remains of a Romanesque castle. Now the Château has regained its glory. Decorated in a refined style and furnishing by Provençal experts, "des Gipières" is one of the most beautiful residences in the region.

The village of Montbrun-les-Bains consists of two parts. In the old section with its picturesque little streets you will find the remains of a feudal castle, a Romanesque church and the belfry, which used to be part the fortress walls. Also incorporated into these walls are the fountains of "La Justice" and "Bourrea" which tell the story and the legend of the village. In the lower, modern section of Montbrun-les-Bains are the shops, restaurants and the post office.

The Mont Ventoux, the Lure, the Luberon and the Baronnies hide their magical and picturesque spots such as La Fontaine de Vaucluse, Gordes, Rousillon with its ochre colors and the Pays d'Apt with its villages situated high in the hills, the Luberon park and the Drôme ravines.
